The Lobby introduces its signature new dessert “Adore” to celebrate the transformation of The Peninsula Beijing. Handcrafted by award-winning French Executive Pastry Chef Frederic Moreau, the mouth-watering sweet treat using the bespoke Valrhona chocolate combines a hazelnut sponge, banana passion fruit gelee, caramelised hazelnut, Peninsula dark chocolate cream, whipped praline cream, and a Peninsula dark chocolate glaze. Each delicious serving is stylishly crowned with a chocolate pailou, an inventive confectionery replica of the iconic Chinese pailou archway that welcomes guests to The Peninsula Beijing.
The new signature dessert is limitedly served daily at The Lobby from June, 2:00pm to 6:00pm, and is priced at RMB 80.
