The Peninsula Hotels has established an innovative and exclusive partnership with online luxury fashion retailer and publisher to create a series of stylish mini guides to the world’s most dynamic gateway cities.

The exclusive style savvy bite-sized guides will be published permanently on the respective hotel’s section of The Peninsula website (, and featured in the travel section of’s fashionable The Edit magazine ( during the week of launch.

Each mini guide provides guests with unique insider knowledge, shopping, cultural events, style, fashion tips and dining suggestions to make the most of their time in the ten Peninsula cities.

Soak up some Beijing's best museums and exhibitions near The Peninsula Beijing.

  • Admire the tranquil surroundings of Ritan Park and the Temple of Sun. Here, watch kite-flying displays and locals practicing tai chi. 6 Ritan Bei Lu, Chaoyang district. 
  • Explore Beijing's Si Huan Market as part of the Peninsula Academy's Taste and Sounds of Beijing package. Try Imperial pastries at Huguosi Xiaochi, one of the city's oldest patisseries, and sample specialty tofu and sorghum (Chinese wine) at traditional soybean drink stalls.

  • Explore Wangfujing Shopping Street to get a sense of the real Beijing, which is home to the Sanlitun Village shopping mall. This is a place to experience the city like a local.
