Huang Ting in the Spotlight
Throughout 2013, The Peninsula Beijing’ esteemed Cantonese fine dining restaurant, Huang Ting, continued to receive acclaim for its refined cuisine as it was named Best Restaurant in Asia and in Beijing by two of the world’s most prestigious dining publications.
The Daily Meal, an international authority in food and beverage, commended Huang Ting as the Number One restaurant in Asia in its highly anticipated 101 Best Restaurants Around the World list, in which 12 of the world’s most experienced food bloggers and writers chose the winners from nominees across six continents, including more than 50 countries and 80 cities. Huang Ting was also named Beijing’s ‘Best Cantonese restaurant of 2012-2013’ by international listings and review magazine, Time Out.
These prestigious awards are a testament to Chef Wong and his dedicated team who produce exquisite and original takes on traditional dim sum and other classic dishes from the Szechuan region on a daily basis, making Huang Ting a consistent favourite with travellers and discerning locals alike.
