Opened in 1989 in the central Wangfujing district of the Chinese capital, The Peninsula Beijing is undergoing an exciting transformation. Starting from mid-2016, the reinvigorated hotel will set spectacular new standards in design, luxury and comfort within easy access of Beijing’s finest attractions, shopping, dining and nightlife.
This October, The Peninsula Beijing has partnered with Chinese contemporary painter and installation artist Qin Feng, who created the striking painting in The Lobby. The stunning outline form in ink set against a vivid pink background depicts the woman as an arbiter of harmony and peaceful change in the world. All hotel staff will wear a specially commissioned pink ribbon pin, and guests can participate by purchasing the pink pin, with part of the proceeds donated to China Breast Cancer Foundation.
